YOUR INFORMATION
Privacy policy
Effective date: 2026-10-30
Pack It Back is published by Daniel Hall. This policy describes how the iPhone app handles information.
The information you keep in the app
Your kit names, item names, quantities, chosen item photos, outing progress and history are stored in the app's local storage on your device. Pack It Back does not upload these records to a service operated by us.
Photos and notifications
You choose individual photos using the system photo picker. The app uses those selected images to help you identify kit items. Local notification permission is requested only if you choose to set an outing reminder.
Sharing and backups
You can share a checklist or export a backup using iOS sharing options. A backup contains the app's saved records and item photos and is not encrypted by Pack It Back. The destination app or service you choose handles that copy under its own policies. A restore replaces current app data after confirmation.
Retention and deletion
Your records remain in the app until you delete them or remove the app. You can delete individual kits or history entries where available, or use the confirmed delete-all action in Settings. Deleting the app's data does not delete backups or copies you have shared elsewhere. Your iPhone's normal device backup settings may include app data; this is separate from any service provided by us.
No advertising or tracking
The app has no account system, advertising SDK, third-party analytics or tracking. We do not receive your lists, photos or outing history through the app.
Payments and support
Apple handles the App Store purchase. We do not receive your payment card details through the app. If you email support, we receive the contact information and content you choose to send and use it to respond to your request. Do not include sensitive material that is not needed for that request.
Changes and contact
If the app's data practices change, this policy will be updated with an effective date. Contact support@agenticconsciousness.com.au with privacy questions.
